Our client is a Hotel based in Somalia that delivers high quality, affordable and professional services in hospitality to their local and international customers. They seek to hire a highly competent, social and welcoming Hotel Receptionist who will be tasked to manage the front office operations of the hotel.

 

Responsibilities

  • Warmly Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests with a genuine smile
  • Assist in bookings and reservations
  • Operate the switchboard
  • Attend to all routes of room bookings, such as online, phone, and in person
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness at the front area
  • Answer telephonic and in-person queries related to the hotel services and resolved any issues
  • Process guests’ check ins and outs
  • Prepare and complete room and restaurant bills
  • Assist guests’ in storing valuables in secure deposit box
  • Liaise with other departments of hotel
  • Handle payments through cash, cheque and credit cards

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hotel Management/ Front office operations
  • Must have 3 years’ experience as a receptionist, preferably in a 4 star/5-star Facility
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Hold a valid Passport, and able to relocate to Mogadishu
  • Female candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Good Customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must be orderly with Ability to multi-task
  • Strong crisis management skills
