Purpose of the position

To maintain the activities & operations of the Business Solutions Centre.


Business Solutions Center Coordination

  • Takes charge of Business Solutions Centre by ensuring the Centre is always open, clean and operational with all machines in working condition in liaison with ICT staff.
  • Assists customers with the use of computers and applications.
  • Responds to customers who encounter difficulties when accessing sites, emailing or downloading content.
  • Assists the ICT team in the Administration of RWMT’s IT network, computing facilities and other data and telecommunications facilities when called upon.

Financial Management

  • Maintains the daily sales ledger book and reconciles with Finance on a monthly basis.
  • Raises cash requisitions to Finance and liquidates within stipulated timelines.
  • Maintains the organization’s No Credit policy at all times.
  • Ensures full payment of goods/services before releasing any items/services to clients and maintains in files the receipts from Finance for all sales in the Unit.
  • Raises store requisitions and purchase requests for the needs of the BSC.


  • Markets, advertises and promotes the activities of the Business Solutions Centre within  and without Rarieda.
  • Supports in creating a marketing strategy that will increase revenue for Business Solutions Centre.
  • Partners, networks and collaborates by with relevant stake holders.
  • Keeps and maintains the name of RWMT in high esteem and respect within the community.

Level of education

  • At least a diploma in Computer systems/IT, with hands on experience in basic troubleshooting techniques of machine software and hardware.
  • The incumbent should have an interest in developing Professional skills in ICT. Previous experience as a cyber-attendant will be an added advantage.

Job experience

  • At least two (2) years relevant experience in a similar position.  A previous position in a public cyber environment would be an asset.
